Follow the money - How do criminals hide

Paul Radu is the executive director of the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project www.occrp.org and he will present advanced investigative techniques to follow the money across borders in order to expose high level organized crime and corruption. The presentation will focus on following the money via mazes of offshore companies in the Magnitsky case, on the hidden wealth of current and former presidents in Azerbaijan and Egypt and on the recent pan-European horsemeat scandal. Paul will also introduce participants to the criminal mindset by presenting the latest methods used by international organized crime to disguise their influence and money.
